Recipe List: Steps:
Bamia
1 cup of Brown Onion (chopped)
1 Beans (cut in half, ends off)
1 kg of Lamb Cutlets
250g of Tomato Paste
2 tablespoons of Salt
1 teaspoon of Pepper
Water


Rice
3 tablespoons of Butter
1 bundle of Vermicelli
1.5 cups of Rice
Water

 

Bamia
1) Put onions, beans, lamb, tomato paste, salt and pepper in a large pot
2) Pour enough water to cover ingredients (1 cm above)
3) Bring to the boil
4) Simmer for 1 hour (stir every now and again!)





Rice
1) Melt butter in a saucepan
2) Add crushed vermicelli
3) Stir until golden
4) Add rice and stir - let it heat through
5) Add water (1 cm above the rice)
6) Bring to boil
7) Simmer (very, very low heat!) for 20 minutes.
