Recipe List: Steps:

Rice Pudding
1 cup of rice
¼ cup of sugar
1 litre of milk of more
Cinnamon to cover
1 teaspoon of rosewater if required


Additional
Pistachio Nut
Sultanas

 

Rice Pudding
1) Place rice & 2 cups of milk in pot
2) Bring to the boil, stir occasionally to prevent rice from sticking to bottom of pot
3) When it becomes thick and dry add 2 cups of milk
4) Keep stirring until it becomes very thick and creamy
5) Repeat this until all the milk is used up but, make sure the mixture stays creamy and runny, not dry
6) Add sugar, keep stirring until dissolved.
7) Add rose water if desired or
8) Place rose water in half the remaining mixture
9) Pour into bowls
10) Sprinkle generous amount of cinnamon to cover

Quick method
1) Add 4 cups of water to rice
2) Bring to the boil
3) Turn right down and let simmer for 20 minutes
4) Add 2 cups of milk and keep stirring until it becomes thick and creamy
5) Repeat this until all the milk is used up but, make sure the mixture stays creamy and not dry
